Long-time syndicated radio morning show host, Kidd Kraddick, passed away this past weekend of heart failure. He was hosting a golf tournament in New Orleans to benefit his charity, “Kidd’s Kid’s.” His morning radio show is headquartered in Dallas and is heard on stations all over the country.

Local listeners will remember “Kidd in the morning each day from 5-9am on WRJB. Kraddick’s show was carried on WRJB for a while back in 2008.

Preliminary autopsy reports found that Kraddicks sudden death was cardiac related. He had an enlarged hearth, two diseased vessels and one artery had 80% blockage. An enlarged heart is a sign of high blood pressure and he was a chain smoker.
